Sungje blinked and watched the other as he went into a big explanation of a movie he heard of but never had the chance to watch, letting out a small laugh, his eyes watching intently in amusement, nodding his head every now and then. When the other realized he wasn’t joking, he smirked lightly, standing up straight, letting his hand rest on his shoulder, trying to look as serious as possible.
“Yes, Vegas, and I wasn’t joking at all, it would be fun, to some extent, and I’ll sure you won’t elope with someone either unless I get drunk- but hey, sometimes crazy stuff is what we need to spice up our lives, the fact that it’s the Fourth of July is even better to go, we could crash the party, bring some friends, burn some things, blow things up-”
Sungje blinked and laughed, shaking his head to show that he was joking, “Okay, maybe not the last bit, but yeah, how many times do you get to go to Vegas? Come on, let’s do it, we just need to hitch a plane ride and then drive there, totally easy, a hundred percent effective and fun.”
When Sungje placed his hand on his shoulder, confidently relaying why they should go, he knew he would cave.
Until, of course, he actually was listening to his friend’s words. “Crash, burn….Blow things up–!?” The other cut him off, laughing. It dawned on him that the other was simply teasing him.
Kibum nodded, agreeing with Sungje’s words, but…. Plans were his thing. He could not live without those plans. He was a tad OCD about them, in fact, he hadn’t done a spontaneous thing in years. The thought of just going wherever, and doing, well, whatever, unnerved him.
“You make it sound so easy,” He commented, ignoring the slight whine that was in his voice, “And why would I find the need to go to Vegas, the last time we went somewhere without plan, we ended up completely broke and with a flock of geese at our feet. In New Mexico.–” He shook his head continuing, “And we were originally in London. Our ‘plans’ don’t exactly always work.”
